This is a perfect example of why I love ignorant hip hop music and artists.
Troy Ave featuring Avon Blocksdale - Cokeamania! from the street album Bricks in my Backpack 3: The Harry Powder Trilogy Mixtape
Ignorant rappers love their puns. This is why we can’t have nice things hip hop.
Rolling Stone has a pretty good article about one of my favorite producers, Diplo. It’s a good read if you have a few minutes.
If I ever get famous enough to host my own mixtape, I’ll make sure to get swizzy to redo this beat and get either Slaughterhouse, Saigon, Fab, Banks & Santana, or, keeping in line with the theme of going across the hip hop country, get Schoolboy Q, Elzhi, 2 Chainz, & ASAP Rocky to spit over this beat.
BTW, Kiss’ verse. SMH damn.
Kobe Bryant is……THE MASK!!!!
This year was the 13th anniversary of The Slim Shady LP. Complex wrote a good piece reflecting on the classic album. After reading this article I want to go back to listen to TSSLP and TMMLP. I tend to forget how great both those albums really are.
Waka Flacka featuring Drake - Round Of Applause
Dedicated to my girl 6, who is not only a fan of Flockaveli but a BIG FAN of the twerk team. For obvious reasons I am huge fan of everything in this video as well. Video of the year in my book.
Little known fact, Mr. Boomtown and Flocka based the treatment for this video on various tweets and tumblr posts of mine. Just wait until Coachella comes, I’m gonna have Lynxx Gentleman’s Club looking like this video.
I can’t be the only one who got the goosebumps when the beginning of Juicy started to play. RIP BIG. <>
YO!!!! This Chase N. Cashe mixtape gots me all….

As it should, anything produced by Drama is gonna be hot. Next time I’m in the VIP of Lynx Gentleman’s Club, most likely this Saturday, with Diamond and Princess, I’m gonna request this song, 2 bottles of Raspberry Ciroc, and toss $1s like confetti at new years. All the while Diddy bopping like Diddy. OVOXO MMG Muthafucka.
Machine Gun Kelly on the Peter Rosenberg show
Honestly, I haven’t really been checking for MGK. I heard about early last year, but like Peter Rosenberg, I was a huge Yelawolf stan and just saw dude as a clone. After this interview on Hot 97, I think I’ll be checking for him now. I almost feel bad for not giving dude a shot. Now is as good a time as any to start I guess.
